TOP TEN TUESDAY

Top Ten Tuesday is, as always, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today’s topic is TOP TEN BOOKS ON MY SUMMER TBR LIST

I’m using a TBR jar this Summer so I’m hoping (fingers crossed!) that I can actually pull these books out! I included one “Honorable Mention” because, I don’t actually own it but I’m so interested in it. I might actually get it.

My Top 10 Books from my Summer To Be Read List:

1. I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore
I already pulled this from my Tbr jar.

2. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
My boyfriend is in LOVE with the Lunar Chronicles…so, it’s gotta be good right?

3. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Literally everyone I know who likes reading has recommended this book to me.

4. Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
I absolutely loved Shadow and Bone and am forever angry at myself for not reading these books sooner.

5. Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
I really enjoyed the movie!

6. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Remember how I said everyone recommends Shatter Me? Well, right after that, they recommend this.

7. The Maze Runner by James Dashner
I have to read it before the movie is out AND, I need me some male lead characters sometimes..

8. Unnatural Creatures by Neil Gaiman
I stumbled on this book at Barnes and Noble and was instantly interested. Who doesn’t like creepy/mythical short stories?

9. Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Read Divergent, loved it. For some reason, never got around to reading Insurgent.

10. Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour
The only contemporary read on my list. I’ve heard nothing but good things about its themes and LaCour’s style. So excited.

HONORABLE MENTION

Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia by Kendall and Kylie Jenner
Alright, there are a few reasons I want to read this. Like one, I think the cover is pretty. Two, it’s supposedly written by Kendall and Kylie Jenner; and three, I want to see what they think is good writing…..
